Another long term problem is too few trees. Because of rapid population growth, many people in developing countries are forced to cut down the trees in order to grow food and make their shelter. Both developed and poor countries are responsible for the destruction of the jungle. In Brazil, trees are cut to feed hamburgers to the Europeans. For the publication of books trees are cut down. Pollution of different kinds, green house effect, acid rain are the main cause of destruction of jungle which created serous problems the earths total land was covered by the forest but now it is about 25 percent.
